Material Donations
We are occasionally asked if we accept material donations. Because we do not have paid staff or our own storage facility, we simply do not have the capacity to accept material donations. We are in the habit of donating some of the materials from our volunteer events to the Savannah Habitat for Humanity’s Restore, and suggest that any standard fare is donated directly to the Restore.
While we do not have the capacity to collect your run-of the-mill reclaimed materials, we are on the lookout for unique materials or objects that might otherwise end up in the landfill. One of our focuses is on creating memorable repurposing projects, so the quirkier or more unique the object you have to donate, the better.
